[This article is currently only available in Dutch] De internationaal tourende DJ Kay Wilder heeft al een indrukwekkende lijst van feesten en festivals op zijn naam staan en release zijn muziek op toonaangevende labels als Armada Music, Black Hole Records en het Britse Ministry of Sound. Top op heden deed Kay de Groninger "place to be" Subsonic nog niet eerder aan. Subsonic besloot hier, in samenwerking met epic247, verandering in te brengen en zodoende vindt op zaterdag 9 maart de eerste Electronication Night plaats, genoemd naar de gelijknamige Electronication podcast van Kay Wilder.
Elke week presenteert Kay Wilder een uur lang de nieuwste EDM in zijn Electronication podcast. Electronication staat voor een veelzijdige en vernieuwende EDM (Electronic Dance Music) sound met invloeden van trance, progressive, house, techno, dub en electro. Om deze sound kracht bij te zetten tijdens de avond heeft Kay enkele van de meest getalenteerde jonge talenten uit Nederland weten te verzamelen. De namen die op de eerste Electronication Night in de booth staan zijn Setrise (Armada Music, High Contrast), Renvo (Armada Music), DiVasco (Armada Music). uiteraard is er ook ruimte voor lokale helden in de vorm van de Groninger dj's Willem de Roo (Enhanced), Hessel en Rob.

Subsonic mag zich de meest besproken club van het moment noemen in Groningen en in haar jonge bestaan. Volgend weekend is het slechts 2 jaar geleden dat de club zich op Groninger grond wist te vestigen en sindsdien is het uitgegroeid tot het creatieve bolwerk van de stad. Subsonic heeft naam gemaakt door avond op avond te verrassen met een frisse programmering variërend van lokaal talent tot internationale toonaangevende acts zoals Noisia en Skrillex (USA).
