My main goal is to produce an energetic sound to create the “wow, that’s awesome” factor on the dance floors worldwide” - Kay Wilder Being busy in the studio.. As a producer Kay knows how to rock the dance floor and hit the international charts like Beatport and the UK Buzz Chart. In his productions he focus on the melodic side of EDM, signed to international renowned labels like Ministry of Sound, Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, he keeps on bringing quality to the table. On the first of January 2013 Kay introduced his own Electronication concept with his weekly podcast on iTunes, quickly followed by several Electronication Night events across The Netherlands and Austria. To end 2013 in style Kay was asked to mix the Electronication Yearmix for Hollands biggest Dance Radio station Slam!FM which got aired on the 30rd of December. Starting 2014 with a new sound, since Kay focused on his studio work throughout the year 2013, new singles will be revealed early 2014. That amazing feeling of being on tour.. DJ wise Kay Wilder delivers an energetic crossover sound, where the sounds of Progressive, Electro, Trance and Pop EDM seem to be in a perfect cohesion to surprise any event or venue. With his energetic and uplifting EDM sound Kay receives broad support by fans, labels and events across the world. Also playing major sold out shows in some of the biggest venues across the Netherlands, being a resident for Europe's largest paint event Neonsplash, including headlining for 8000 visitors in a sold out MECC in Maastricht, rocking a sold-out Maassilo in Rotterdam, peak timing in the famous Club Escape in Amsterdam, highlighting the mainstage at a sold out House In Harmony Festival together with Don Diablo and rocking the official 3FM Serious Cafe during Hollands biggest live radio event "Serious Request 2013". Kay also knows how to showcase his genuine roots as a musician delivering a cross genre collaborations, like performing his classical translation of The Great Gate Of Kiev by Mussorgsky live at Holland’s biggest outdoor classical festival City Proms together with the 60 musicians of the Dutch NNHO orchestra. Already early in his career Kay got picked up by label honcho Dick de Groot for the High Contrast Label Night, being the support act for Marco V’s In Charge Night rocking venues together with Rank 1 as well as sharing the stage with the EDM pioneer Junkie XL. Playing numerous times at the world’s biggest outdoor festival “Dancetour” alongside Hardwell, Afrojack, Sunnery James, Marco V, Armin van Buuren, as well as producing the official Anthem “Bringing People Together” back in 2010. In 2010 Kay was invited by ISAF as the first deejay ever to play a solo concert in the middle of the Afghan desert for 3500 ISAF troops and civilians of 54 different nationalities. In the same year Kay received a phone call by the #1 deejay of that moment Armin van Buuren to play at the A State Of Trance 500 celebration in Den Bosch, to perform together with W&W, Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, Ummet Ozcan and Orjan Nilsen. In July 2012 Kay got voted #94 deejay in the world according to the voters of the Trance Podium Global DJ Poll Top 100.
